Europarcs Kaatsheuvel

Many animals live in this nature reserve, but those who want to see many more should go to Safaripark De Beekse Bergen which is within half an hour’s drive: here you will see lions, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and giraffes roaming free. Also recommended is the small-scale animal park De Oliemeulen in Tilburg. Here, birds of prey shows are held and, if you would like, you get the chance to put a snake around your neck or hold a tarantula in your hand.

Tilburg is just under a 20-minute drive from the holiday park. Besides the city brewery and the textile museum, Doloris’ Meta Maze is a must: here you have to go through a maze full of artworks blindfolded. This involves climbing, scrambling and sliding to get to the next room. Furthermore, Tilburg offers a lot of shopfun and otherwise much to see such as the former palace of King Willem II.
