Chantyn Raghoebarsingh; wife, mother, business owner and now the newest owner and regional operating principal for KW Suriname. Her resume boasts expertise in both commercial construction and accounting. Not to mention, being part of the biggest allotment project Suriname has known (300 + acres) Palm Village, where she started her career in Real Estate.
She joined her husband in 2011 to support their organization with the sales and administration. When she joined the company was mainly focused on engineering and construction and underestimated the value of a strong sales- and administrative team causing a gap which she closed within a year after joining the team. She highly focused on customer service, administration and training.
In the past 10 years her company has built the largest multistory department store in Suriname with a combined floor space of 150.000 sq. ft., And currently she has the largest multi story warehouse under construction with a total combined floor space of approx. 270.000 sq. ft.
Chantyn has been very successful in combining strong technical skills with strong commercial and financial accounting skills which has proven to become a winning concept in the construction and real estate industry in Suriname.
It sounds like a handful (it is!), but she still manages to make time for her family and hobbies. To blow off steam, she frequently visits the gym and a kickboxing school, and on the weekends, she hosts awesome get-togethers for her family.
With the multiple offshore oil discoveries, the local real-estate market is expected to rapidly expand. In preparation, Chantyn came across the Keller Williams brand, and with her win-win mindset it was a match made in heaven.
Honest, sincere and tough are just a few descriptions of her character, which certainly translates to the environment she created for her team. Chantyn has always believed in human capital and bringing out the best in every single team member. The fact that Keller Williams enables every region and its teams to make a profit, all while continuously re-investing in each individual is a prime example of “you CAN have your cake and eat it too”.
