Water, beach and forest: EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand gives even more diversity and depth to the concept of a holiday experience. The holiday park is divided into three zones, each with a completely different atmosphere. The three-stage rocket to a holiday experience++ lies in the glint in the eye that the Forest Zone, Water Zone and Beach Zone evoke in young and old alike. The total of 154 holiday homes that we will realise will further match the rich history of the region in appearance and design. Of the 154 homes, 32 will be built on the beach, 44 by the inland water and 78 in the forest.

EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand (Immerhornweg 15, 1601 DC Enkhuizen) is located on a piece of unadulterated (North) Dutch history. The location is the westernmost tip of North Holland in the heart of West Friesland and can be labelled “triple A” status: next to the famous Zuiderzeemuseum, next to the theme park Sprookjeswonderland, next to a large recreational area with ditto sandy beach in the making, virtually next to an indoor swimming pool and within walking distance of Enkhuizen’s beautiful seventeenth-century town centre.

Following this, we will enrich, polish and sharpen our newest pearl in our pearl necklace so that the level of facilities and amenities matches the level of our other parks. This includes versatile catering, outdoor play facilities and creating a central meeting point around which there is plenty to do.

From Enkhuizen, you can reach Hoorn and Medemblik (with its monumental Radboud castle) in 15 minutes. Amsterdam and Den Helder are less than an hour away, Alkmaar three quarters of an hour.

Finally, between Enkhuizen and Almere, you look out on the Marker Wadden, a nature reserve with the Wadden Islands as inspiration and which should lead to more diversity in nature in the Markermeer. To see these islands, you have to drive via the Houtribdijk to Almere, where a boat goes to the Marker Wadden from Bataviastad. The nature reserve comprises five islands totalling 750 hectares.
