Beautiful traditional villa in the village of Kalloni, a Minoan village 17 km from Heraklion (Crete). Only 15 minutes by car from the airport or 15 minutes from the port.

Kalloni is a quiet and inspiring village with traditional taverns and wineries. In the same area, the visitor can see the house/museum of Nikos Kazantzakis, but also the "Labyrinth", Ross Daly’s music school. The house is 10 km from the archaeological site of Knossos or 5 km from Archanes, the international prize-winning village in architecture. If you want nightlife and other urban amenities (such as hospital care), the cosmopolitan city of Heraklion is only a 15-minute drive away. Nearby beaches (20 minutes drive): Amnissos, Toumbruk, Karteros. A little further beach (30 minutes drive): Hersonissos.

The area is extremely developing because at a distance of one kilometer from Kalloni the avenue for the new airport of Heraklion is being built. An upgrade of the entire municipality is planned, without losing the traditional and peaceful character of the village.
