For sale a beautiful complex of trulli from the 1800s consisting of 9 cones and 3 lamias for a total of about 100 m² located a few kilometers from the romantic town of Cisternino.

The property consists of a central sovereign trullo with original chianche stones, 6 other cones connected internally and 2 other cones attached to the trullo but not connected.

The property is surrounded by a plot of approximately 3,300 m² with cherry trees, has an old oven, fireplace and 8 water cisterns.

For those who do not know Cisternino, this town will be a pleasant surprise. Exploring it means entering one of the most picturesque villages in Puglia. An explosion of white houses, typical of the center of the city, immersed in a green landscape full of centuries-old olive trees, the traditional trulli emerge, as if they had been placed there, while in the distance you can imagine the blue of the sea. Discovering Cisternino means stepping back in time. Cisternino has the orange flag of the TCI (Italian Tourist Association) and is included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy and is a Slow Food city for preserving its gastronomic traditions and protecting local crops and production such as the meat for sale at one of the many butchers in the historic center. Here it is customary for the purchased meat to be prepared in the summer in a room next to the butcher’s shop and consumed by taking a seat at the tables specially set up in the open air.

The entrance to the town is through the Torre di Porta Grande which dates back to the Middle Ages and is built in Norman style; Characteristic beyond the height of 17 meters is the statue of Saint Nicola that is placed on top of the building. You can’t help but notice the beauty of the center, where you can admire prestigious buildings such as Palazzo Lagravinese, Palazzo Vescovile, Palazza Amati, Palazzo del Governatore and Torre Capece, which alternate in a maze of alleys with spectacular views.

As in other centers of Puglia, Cisternino also guards rites, customs and folklore. This is, for example, the case of the patronal feast of San Quirico, which takes place in the first week of August, where concerts, fireworks, processions and markets fill the city, as it also happens on Easter Monday, called Pasquareddè, where the Madonna della Prosperità is honored at the sanctuary of the Madonna d’Ibernia. Throughout the year many typical festivals take place in Cisternino and the surrounding area, the most important of which are the festivals of grapes, rabbit and orecchiette. In addition, Cisternino also hosts the Festival delle Pietre and the Festival of the Bande Musicali della Valle d’Itria, which attract thousands of tourists every year.
