Looking further afield, airports at Palermo and Catania are within driving reach and you can take comfortable sleeper trains across the straits of Messina and right up the peninsula of the Italian mainland. With a modest asking price and a renovation budget focused on comfort rather than structure, Casa Loredana is an affordable way to own a sea-view home in the Sicilian hills.
